YouTube is an Internet video portal that enables video publishers to upload video clips and other users to view without charge. We have embedded YouTube videos into this website that explain the product empoind.
Through its certification under the EU-US Privacy Shield, Google and its YouTube subsidiary guarantee that the EU information privacy provisions will be observed even when information is processed in the United States (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active).
We use YouTube in connection with the “Expanded Information Privacy Mode” to be able to display videos for you. The legal basis is GDPR Article 6. Our justified interest lies in improving the quality of our Internet presence. The “Expanded Information Privacy Mode” has the effect of only transmitting subsequent or detailed data if you actually play a video instead of establishing a connection as soon as you access one of our web pages on which a YouTube video is embedded.

What information do we collect without your consent?
Wordfence Security
It is our legitimate interest to properly ensure the security of our website.
When you visit our website we share your IP address with the approved third-party service Wordfence Security without obtaining your explicit consent. This is necessary in order to enable our Firewall to block malicious requests from attackers. Wordfence Security is compliant with the GDPR and we have signed a Data Processing Agreement with them.
Do we share your information with third parties?
Yes. Like stated above, we share some personal information with third parties in order to provide you with certain features. In these cases, we have signed a Data Processing Agreement with the corresponding third party service, based on GDPR Article 28.
- Wordfence Security: Transmission of IP address for blocking malicious requests
- YouTube: When you watch an embedded video, YouTube might collect data like your IP address
Transfer to countries outside the European Union
Your information may also be processed, accessed, or stored in countries outside the European Union (EU) based on your consent or our legitimate interest of providing services to you.

Server logs
Use of the website involves sending queries to the server on which the website is hosted. Each query sent to the server is stored in server logs.
